You will receive the route files before the trip and can use them by your personal device or phone. Our local staff will meet you on your first day to introduce you to the routes and hotels, give tips and recommendations.

This is a approximately 45 km cycling stage. You start cycling from the bike shop in Alba. Alba is a small town and soon you will pedal through smaller roads in the country side.

In this 45 km / 720m day of cycling you will cycle in a circular route through rolling hills in the Roero area and pass through small villages before you come back to your hotel in Verduno to stay another night.

Just like the first night, you can have dinner at the Agriturismo Ca’ del Re by reserving in advance and payment on the spot.

A 48 km cycling stage in the beautiful hills of Barolo wine fields awaits you today.

You cycle in your own pace through the rolling hills and get a chance to breath, smell and look at the country and the grapes that produce Barolo wine.

Make a stop for a good lunch, when it suits you and enjoy peddling through the fields.
You will need some breaks today as you climb 1.020 meters during the riding.

From 15:00 you can check-in at the next hotel, a beautiful AgriTourismo Hotel with a Spa and wine production in house, where you will spend 2 nights in a double classic room.

You can have dinner at the hotel Agriturismo La Torricella by reserving in advance and payment on the spot.

Today is a another day, where you get to explore Piemonte countryside in this 46 km cycling stage. You get 668 meters up and down.

You cycle in a circular route from the hotel through the Alta Langa Hills, visiting wine farms and villages. These hills are known for producing a traditional-method sparkling wine, the Alta Langa DOCG.

On the road, you will find steep slopes, deep forests, wildflower meadows, and hazelnut groves rather than continuous flat vineyards.

Make a stop for a good lunch, when it suits you.

In the afternoon you have time to enjoy the hotel, perhaps visit the Spa or simply enjoy the garden.

You can have dinner at the hotel Agriturismo La Torricella by reserving in advance and payment on the spot.

Cycling North you are heading to the next destination of this trip at Canelli.

It is a 46 km long ride through the Moscato Hills before you descend a bit. Alltogether you have around 500 meters uphill today, but even more downhill.

When you reach Canelli, you are now in the one of the world's capitals of wine, a UNESCO World Heritage area in the southern province of Asti.

You can find several nice lunch places along the way in one of the small villages.

From 15:00 you can check-in at the next hotel, a medieval villa that is renovated and now a hotel with beautiful spaces for you to enjoy for 2 nights in a double room, the Loggia San Leonardo.

We suggest that you have dinner at the restaurant Civico 15 Enoteca Gastronomica. It is restaurant with a brilliant cuisine situated in front of the hotel.

You must reserve a table in advance and pay on the spot.

On your final cycling day, you head out from the wine capital Canelli and head for the truffle and chocolate capital Alba.

Approximately 52 km and 908 m+ wait for you on your final day on the bikes.

You cycle in hills of Barberesco and can enjoy a final day in your own pace taking in the Piemont smells, wind and feel and having lunch in a place thats suits you on the way.

As you arrive in Alba, you can check in to your final hotel of this trip from 15:00.

From 15:00 you can check-in at B&B Palazzo Finati in Alba, where you stay for 2 nights in a comfortable double room.

This cozy B&B is located in the centre of Alba and a perfect place to stay when you visit and discover Alba by foot in the following days.

Our contact person from the bike shop comes and collect your bikes and the bike accessories that you have used during the trip.

We suggest that you have dinner at the restaurant Petricore Enoteca Con Cucina which is 400 meters from your hotel.

You must reserve a table in advance and pay on the spot.

Your final day in Piemonte is a day where you get to stretch your legs and walk around Alba in your own pace.

You can drink coffee all day and people watch at one of the many cafés, you can visit truffle shops or get a taste of Nutella from the nearby Ferrero Rocher factory.

Make sure to have a good lunch and dinner in some of the many good restaurants in the town and just enjoy the Piemonte rhythm of life.

It is time to say goodbye to the Piemonte hills and Alba for this time.

If you departure from Alba by a bus or a train, we transfer you to the bus/train station from the hotel.
